Bishop visits Wilmington

The leader of nearly 2.5 Episcopalians visited Wilmington for the first time today. Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori attended a special service at the Cathedral Church of St. John where priests, deacons and laity renewed their vows.

State employees grill Gov. Markell

Governor Jack Markell hosted a town hall session in Dover before more than 250 state employees Monday night. Workers asked questions about the the governor's proposal to cut their salary by 8 percent in an effort to close in on the state's $750 million budget deficit.

Crash injures 5

Five people were injured following a two-vehicle crash last night in Brandywine Hundred. Watch investigators on the scene at the intersection of Grubb and Brandywood Roads.

Man admits to killing woman

Ricky Wiley, 31 pleaded guilty in New Castle County Superior Court to second-degree murder in the killing of 45-year-old Karin Clayton at her Talleyville home May 16, 2008. Authorities say the two met online and Wiley moved in with Clayton and her family a month before the murder.

3 escape house fire, 1 injured

Three people escaped a house fire in Wilmington last night and one person was hospitalized. Investigators determined late this afternoon that an unattended candle sparked the fire. Watch firefighters battle the fire.
