Barclaycard opens center in Ogletown

At a time when bank companies are swinging the ax, one Delaware bank has boosted jobs. Barclaycard and state leaders celebrated the opening of its new customer care center today in Ogletown. Watch the company's newest employees start their new job.

State puts vehicles up for auction

Delaware has a deal on used cars. The state is auctioning a fleet of vehicles in an effort to save money. Prospective buyers checked out the vehicles yesterday at the Stockley Center Georgetown. The auction is online only and ends Thursday at 7 p.m. A second auction begins Saturday

Naitonal EMS Memorial Ride

Bike riders from all over the country are participating in the National EMS Memorial Ride this week. The ride is in memory of EMS workers killed in the line of duty. More than 150 cyclists gathered in Georgetown Monday evening to remember Stephanie Calloway and Michelle Smith who were both killed in the line of duty.

National EMS Memorial Ride

The National EMS Memorial Ride has cylcists from all over the country participating. The bike routes started as far north as New York and as far south as Kentucky. The ride was established to pay tribute to EMS workers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Last night cyclists gathered in Georgetown to remember two EMS workers killed. The riders will meet in Roanoke, Virginia Friday for a special memorial service.

Residents describe explosion

Hear from area residents as they describe last night's explosion at the Sunoco Oil Refinery in Claymont. The blast was heard shortly after 10 p.m. The refinery straddles Pennsylvania and Delaware state lines. No one was injured.

Crash victim identified as Milton mother

Police say the woman who died in Friday night's single-vehicle crash near Odessa was the mother of the three children she was traveling with. Cristina Almodovar, 30 of Milton lost control of the SUV she was driving on Del. 1when it overturned several times. Almodovar died at Christiana Hospital. Three of Almodovar's children were in the SUV, one was seriously injured, two others suffered minor injuries.
