Byrne to speak in Dewey
2007 Nobel Peace Prize recipient, John Byrne will be a guest presenter Saturday at the Baycenter in Dewey Beach as part of the 2nd Annual Renewable Energy Fair. We caught up with Byrne this week, listen to what he had to say.

Christina watershed cleanup

Multi-vehicle crash snarls traffic
A five vehicle pile-up today in Wilmington Manor snarled traffic for more than an hour on U.S. 13. The crash happened in the northbound lanes around 9 a.m. Watch emergency crews on the scene. Police say a tractor-trailer rear-ended a car sending it underneath a pickup truck causing a chain of crashes.

Man falls from roof
A man who fell from a ladder on top of a roof today in Wilmington suffered only minor injuries. Investigators say the man was climbing the ladder from a single-story rooftop to a second story when he fell. Watch firefighters rescue the man from the rooftop.

2 arrested in graffiti vandalism
State Police arrested two men Sunday night in connection with graffiti spray painted below the Kirkwood Highway overpass near Greenbank Road in Marshallton. Police say they caught the two men in the act and arrested them after they tried to run away. Watch troopers on the scene where graffiti now blankets a stretch of concrete.

Fire causes $1million in damages
An early morning blaze at a Sussex County hotel left behind at least $1 million in damages. Watch firefighters battle the blaze at the Hampton Inn in Milford. The hotel was under construction at the time.
