3 arrested in school threats

Delaware State Police have arrested two juveniles and one adult in connection with threatening text messages that stated a student would be shot at one of three Sussex County schools targeted. Watch troopers on the scene of two schools that operated in lockdown today.

Ex-offender recognized

Watch as a former criminal is recognized for his successful re-entry to the workforce after spending time in prison. Michael D'Aguair received the Ex-Offender of the Year award at the annual Workforce Development Award Ceremony today in Wilmington.

Markell's plan

Today, Governor Jack Markell unveiled his proposed budget with sweeping cuts and tax hikes in an effort to shrink a more than $750-million deficit. Cuts include an 8 percent salary cut for state employees. Listen to Gov. Markell as he talks about his plan and addresses drastic changes for the future.

Fire bomb hurled

Police are looking for the person who through a Molotov cocktail at a window in the Leedom Estates community near New Castle. Watch investigators as they carefully remove the bomb that burned out on its own.

Police investigate homicide

Delaware State Police are investigating the death of a man discovered last night slumped over the steering wheel of a car behind Pencader Plaza near Newark. Watch investigators at the scene. St. Patrick's Day

Meatball mania


Area restaurant owners and chefs were among those competing in a meatball competition at the West End Neighborhood House in Wilmington. The competition kicked off the upcoming "Taste of Little Italy" dining event to raise money for the West End Neighborhood House. Take a look at the competition.

3 injured in Wilm. crash


At least three people were injured last night in a single car crash in Wilmington. Watch rescuers on the scene of the overturned car that collided with a utility pole. Two girls ages 16 and 17 were transported to the hospital in serious condition. A 28-year-old man was also injured and listed in stable condition.

Burning candle blamed on fire


Wilmington Fire officials say an unattended candle left burning in the living room of a home in the 700 block of N. Adams St. caused sparked a blaze that displaced nine people Saturday. Watch as firefighters doused the flames shooting from the home.
